As Director, Mr. White will lead Soryn’s outreach and brokerage efforts and consult with Soryn’s clients on a range of strategic patent issues.

Mr. White’s impressive career in the patent arena spans more than thirty years. While at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. White served as a patent examiner in the automotive space and Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Patents. As an attorney, Mr. White spent decades counseling clients on a host of prosecution and litigation issues, and wrote or prosecuted thousands of patent applications. In his capacity as an educator, Mr. White has taught at the University of Virginia School of Law and John Marshall Law School, and created the PLI Patent Bar Review course. In his role as the Principal Lecturer for PLI, Mr. White has personally taught more than 25,000 practicing patent attorneys and agents.
